Video page

This is the 'video page' of the KidneyGuide. If you want to know how this page works, click on 'start'.

If you want to leave the tutorial, click on the ‘x’ in the top right corner of this text box. You can always return later. In that case click on the button ‘tutorial KidneyGuide’ in the upper right corner of your screen.

Selection

In the left menu you'll see the topics and treatments you have selected. You can use this menu to quickly jump to a specific topic or treatment.

If you want to change your selection, click on 'Edit selection?' at the top left of the menu.

Videos

Videos start playing automatically. If you want to pause a video, click in the middle of the video image. Click again to restart the video.

Above the video frame you can see which 'topic' and what 'treatment' the video is about.

Next video

Click on the blue 'Next video' button to play the next video. Use this button to go (one by one) through the videos you have selected.

(Click on the gray 'Previous video' button to play the previous video)

More information

Here you can find more about the person in the video you are currently looking at.

- Click on 'All videos' if you want to see all the videos of this person.
- Click on 'Kidney passport' if you want to know more about this person's medical history.
- Click on 'What is ...?' If you want to know what this person's treatment involves. This happens through an animation.

Overview videos

On the right you can see all videos about this topic and this treatment.

- The blue dot indicates which video you are currently viewing.
- The gray 'tick' on the right indicates that you have already seen a video.

Save videos

The KidneyGuide contains more than 1.000 videos. To support you, there is the possibility to save important videos and add a note to them. To do this click on 'Save video'.

(You can only save videos when you have an account. Click on 'Login' in the upper right corner to create an account and/or to log in.)

Topics and treatments

Clicking here will take you back to the ‘Topics and Treatments’ page. Here you can change your choice of topics and treatments and then continue with the KidneyGuide.

Animations

Click on ‘Animations’ to find a page where all treatments are explained. The explanation is done through animations.

Keywords

Click on 'Keywords' to find all keywords referring to videos from the KidneyGuide. When you click on a keyword, you get an overview of all the videos that contain this keyword.
